Positive: Bed super comfortable and the location is good to allow you to explore some hidden gems

Spacious, comfortable, well decorated room at very good location near bus station, place w potential Positive: The room was spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, and the bed large and very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent, modern, very spacious and well equipped, with an excellent and spacious shower. Wifi was very good, when operational. The location was very good, with many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby, as well as the central bus terminal and harbour ships access close by within only a few minutes walk. Reception staff are available during office hours, and there is otherwise remote attendance by Whatsapp etc. Economic price. Negative: Onboarding was somewhat disappointing, as additional proof of payment was requested on arrival, though prior instructions expressly required prepayment for moving forward at all, and only then could the premises actually be entered. The heated up room first had to be air conditioned before being able to remain in it, and there was some odor from previous use, and blotches here and there. The door code (aside from a card) was simple and could therefore be easily replicated or guessed. Cups were only provided on repeated ask, and an additional chair denied, and there was in any case no comfortable seater in the otherwise big room. Shower gel dispenser was empty and not refilled during the stay despite notice, though granted shampoo and shower gel were provided amply in small bottles. Walls to the adjacent rooms appear very thin, being able to hear voices too clearly and unwantingly listen to conversations and other less desirable nighttime noises, even requiring late hour notice to management. There were repeated somewhat longer wifi outages. Vending machines, water dispenser and comfortable seating possibilities in the reception area would be good. Moskito protection on the room windows would also be a good addition. As to management, it sometimes remained unclear whether the on-site or remote staff were in charge. Altogether the hotel is at a very good location and in a good, new modern building, and the rooms are spacious and principally well fitted, and so positively spoken the place has a lot of potential for being a really good place to stay and an excellent experience, and it would be beneficial for that potential to be acknowledged and realised / put to use for everyone's benefit. E.g. starting with sound proofing between rooms would be a very good idea and a real immediate value addition.
